EdTech Leaders Online (ETLO)
EdTech Leaders Online is a capacity-building, research-based online learning program based at Education Development Center (EDC). ETLO works with states, districts, virtual schools, colleges and universities, and other educational organizations to enable them to build successful online and blended learning programs for teachers, administrators and students. ETLO is the 2010 recipient of iNACOL’s Online Innovator award for Outstanding Online Program.
ETLO provides online facilitator and course developer training programs, online courses, consulting services and custom online course development. Since ETLO’s inception in the fall of 2000, it has prepared more than 5,000 online instructors and designers who have delivered courses to over 48,000 educators and students in more than 35 states.
Education Development Center (EDC) is a leading non-profit research and development educational organization based in Massachusetts, with more than 50 years of experience in curriculum development, professional development, educational technology and research. Working with public-sector and private partners on 350 projects in 35 countries around the world, EDC harnesses the power of people and systems to improve education, health promotion and care, workforce preparation, communications technologies, and civic engagement.
